Our program goes through four segmented courses which expose the students to gain fundamental skills in becoming a graphic designer.
Course 1 – Basics of Graphic designing
Graphic design is the process of visual communication through the use of typography, photography, iconography and illustration. It teaches to combine symbols, images and text to form visual representations of ideas and messages.
Course 2 – Understanding the different Designing Fields
- Interface Designing: Graphical User Interface (GUI). This has included web design and software design when end user-interactivity is a design consideration of the layout or interface.
- User Interface Designing: User experience design (UX) is the study, analysis, and development of creating products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users.
- Experiential graphic design: Experiential graphic design is the application of communication skills to the built environment. This area of graphic design requires practitioners to understand physical installations.
Course 3 – Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
In this course you’ll learn photo editing techniques and master the illustrator tool. We will learn how to create a magazine layout and design various Logos.
Course 4 – Imagemaking and brand development
Imagemaking is basically experimenting with tools and techniques to form images that are expressive, meditative and evoke the idea of creativity.It is a composition of tools to expand the visual vocabulary. Brand development is the culmination of the whole program which teaches to tie together your knowledge and skills to invent a company.
